Why Dr. Kruse felt he could no longer serve in an advisory position had nothing to do with killing animals. Dr. Kruse was asked by Cove city official to give the interview & speak on their behalf. The interview that appeared on KXXV, was not shown in it's entirety. Dr. Kruse was interviewed for more than 5 minutes & what was aired was less than 30 seconds. His comments were completely taken out of context. He did not say he advocated the killing of animals. He commented that animal control has a responsibility to protect the public.
On another note -
Our family, three generations of Hill Country clients, is but one group completely happy with Dr. Kruse's exemplary care.
We have been taking our very large pet family to Hill Country Animal Hospital for more than 15+ years. We have never had a problem with the care our pets have received from Dr. Kruse & his staff. We have always been comfortable when our pets have boarded with Hill Country, sometimes for days at a time.
Seems to me there are a lot of individuals posting grievances because Dr. Kruse stood his ground & gave them an answer they didn't like. So, of course, people get upset & the first thing they do is start posting slanderous comments. (makes you wonder where kids learn to bully on the net). Their complaints are but one side of the story.
Logically speaking, if Dr. Kruse is the horrible vet he has been portrayed to be, why then does he still hold a veterinary license & why is he still in business?
My family knows for a fact, Dr. Kruse does not bend the laws of veterinary medicine to suit the public. Instead he follows the veterinary code of ethics and laws to better serve the patient.
BTW, when did it start being a crime to be a "One vet" practice? This country was founded on the backs of small business ownership. At one time it was called the "American Dream".
