Ariel Books is a great store in New Paltz, NY. There's a different vibe to this place being located in a small town especially with Suny College nearby. All the students come by and hangout over here and the Starbucks next door. Besides selling all the best-sellers, they also have a corner dedicated to the history of New Paltz with books reflecting the changes in this town. Lots of authors come here to do signings and it alwys creates a buzz. This family owned business has been here for over 30 years and treats everyone is such a friendly manner. Book stores like this one should be supported.
