Review content:
Patriot's Point is located at the foot of the Old Cooper River Bridges and looks out over the Cooper River towards downtown Charleston.
It houses several decommissioned naval ships, including its most famous resident, the USS Yorktown.
This is a must-see for anyone interested in Naval history, Military History, or just US History in general. You can take tours of the ships and see just what cramped living is provided on a ship that is so massive.
I do not believe that the Yorktown is wheelchair friendly, as one must step up and over the portholes that serve as doors.
