I found Mare on the internet, (after having a few massages in other places, that felt good but did not help my pain go away) I did not really think massage was worth the money. I saw a few things about her that seemed different, I found her web site and she seemed to be more educated and had been around a long time. My mom said she'd pay for it as a gift for my birthday so I went. First of all Mare is so much more than a massage therapist. She is knowledgeable about nutrition, de toxification, and yoga, and she really seemed to know the body in ways no other massage therapist I went to did. Also her hands are magical! they found every knot! It didn;t really even hurt that much because she really moved her hands slowly, and she got really deeply into my muscles knots. She stretched me out, she did hot rocks on me, she went deep but I also felt totally relaxed. I fell asleep! She also did some kind of head holding technique that made me feel like I was floating on clouds.
This was the best massage I have ever gotten, not that I have had that many but I would go back again for sure. She is awesome! I slept so deep that night, it was so peaceful.
Pros: easy to get to, parking easy
Cons: cold in the hallway..but very warm in the room and massage table was toasty warm
