I used Second Ward Movers on a friend's recommendation, moving my stuff from a one BR apartment to a house in Katy. Just between you and me, internet, I've got a lot of crap. Not like Hoarders-style (seriously, collecting cat poop is weird), but I've got couches and tables and boxes of CD's and drum kits and bbq grills and all sorts of stuff. It's gotten past the point of "let's just order pizza and beer and have friends over to help", y'know? Add into the fact that you had to schedule around a billion other things, and moving can be an incredibly daunting and stressful task.
Thankfully, there are good people out there. They were completely on time and on point. If you have your things together and are mindful about what you need moved, how the movers are going to get it out of your house, and where you're putting it in your new place, They are the perfect crew for getting the job done. Seriously, most of the apartment and storage space was done in the span of a couple hours, and done damn well (and totally affordably so). They knocked it out and were on their merry way way before the time that we had both estimated as necessary for the job to get finished.
Not that I ever want to have to move again (seriously, moving sucks), but if I do, I know I'm calling Second Ward Movers.
