We had a fantastic experience with them. Matt and Javier showed up exactly ontime and hustled for almost 7 hours, packing first our apartment and then going to our VERY full storage unit and finally to our new home! I would absolutely use them again and will definitely recommend them to anyone needing moving assistance! I used Second Ward Movers on a friend's recommendation, moving my stuff from a one BR apartment to a house in Katy. Just between you and me, internet, I've got a lot of crap. Not like Hoarders-style (seriously, collecting cat poop is weird), but I've got couches and tables and boxes of CD's and drum kits and bbq grills and all sorts of stuff. It's gotten past the point of "let's just order pizza and beer and have friends over to help", y'know? Add into the fact that you had to schedule around a billion other things, and moving can be an incredibly daunting and stressful task. Thankfully, there are good people out there. They were completely on time and on point. If you have your things together and are mindful about what you need moved, how the movers are going to get it out of your house, and where you're putting it in your new place, They are the perfect crew for getting the job done. Seriously, most of the apartment and storage space was done in the span of a couple hours, and done damn well (and totally affordably so). They knocked it out and were on their merry way way before the time that we had both estimated as necessary for the job to get finished. Not that I ever want to have to move again (seriously, moving sucks), but if I do, I know I'm calling Second Ward Movers. more

Just used Second Ward movers to move from Houston out to Pearland. The moving team did an outstanding job. They we're all friendly, professional, quick and no-nonsense. Moving is stressful enough and the last thing you need is movers with attitude. They plowed through everything and my total move came in lower than I was anticipating. I have used movers maybe 4 times in the past and this overall was the best experience I have had. more

I've moved around 6 times over the past several years. These guys were great and by far the best I've worked with. Thanks for being so careful with my stuff. This is a temp move, so many of my belongings went into storage. They were great keeping everything separate. I was with my wife, so we carpooled and they almost beat us. We thought we would be waiting for over an hour, but it didn't happen. more

Almost a year ago I moved from Galveston to Houston. A couple of friends had used Second Ward Movers for local moves and were happy with the price and after calling several places, they had the best price for my Houston move. Day of the move, they arrives EARLY (just before 9am) and were out of my first floor apartment by 10am. We were all arrived in Houston around noon and they started hauling all of my stuff to my third floor walk up. They were work horses getting everything into my much smaller place. Definitely recommend them! Price is more than fair and the work ethic is outstanding. more

I just moved into my new house on March 27th. I was a panicky first time home buyer. I had nightmares about all things going wrong (which some did) but thankfully not the move. I emailed Lisa to schedule for an appointment. Not only were they the cheapest, they also had the best reviews. It was a no brainer. I kept emailing Lisa to make sure they were still on, and he very patiently responded each time. On the day of the move, they were supposed to be there at 9am, I was up, ready and anxiously waiting. The movers, showed up at 8.59am and by 9.17 (I know, coz I looked) my bedroom was all loaded in the truck. They were gentle with the things that needed care and asked questions when in doubt. Somethings in my bedroom were in the wrong area, they moved it all to the otherside, when I asked. And by 12.30 they were all done - dismantling furniture, loading van, driving to new house, unloading and putting furniture back together. I highly recommend them, moving is stressful, hire "Second Ward Movers" and make it a breeze. more

I have moved 7 times in the last 24 months and I have never seen a better crew. Enthusiastic, helpful and positive. WOW! I could not of asked for anyone better. They did a VERY difficult move with tack professionalism and never seemed to have a doubt that they could accomplish it although I was concerned. They moved a very heavy and LARGE commercial fridge. Another mover showed up earlier in the week to move just the fridge and were not able to complete the job – Seconf Ward Moverfs crew showed up and did not hesitate or comment and did It quickly and never a word about the size of difficulty of the job. Any future moves, I will call these guys a call first! more

I just used Second Ward Movers, they are AWESOME!!!! I've never had a good experience with a moving company until second Ward. When it came to tally up the $$ I owed I was expecting the worst. However, I was actually charged less than 2/3 of what I was originally quoted. The workers were clean and courteous, never did I hear one bad word come out of their mouths. I would have paid double what I was charged to get the quality of service that they delivered. Thanks a million!!! more

I recently moved from S Houston to N Houston. I hired Second Ward Movers to do the big stuff. They quoted me at 3 to 4 hours, but they actually took less than 2. Matt and Jahvier arrived right on time, introduced themselves, and got right to work. I could not believe how fast and efficient they were. For me, because I was moving from a one bedroom to another one bedroom just across town, the hourly rate was the way to go. They did not move slowly at all or take breaks. Moving all of that stuff with the help of friends would have taken all day and would have been a pain. Hiring Second Ward Movers was well worth the money. more
