Review content:
I came into Tonya Jones SalonSpa very excited. I had purchased a groupon to recieved discounted services and I need a good trim and some highlights. The woman that did my hair was really nice and easy to talk to, but to say that I left looking frightful, is a true understatement. All of the customers in the salon were giving me the, "What the hell just happened to her" look. Even the owner Tonya Jones approached me saying, "Yeah your hair looks terrible" I then stood in line for 30 minutes trying to find their "approved" version of my groupon. I had a receipt on my phone but that was not good enough. Finally they told me, "Well I guess we will just assume that you bought the groupon. Just make sure to call us back with the correct information." I felt like I was being accused of lying about the groupon while I was standing there looking like I just got my fingers stuck in a light socket. Also, most of the hairdressers who passed me, touched my hair, and then would whisper about how I should not have to pay. Then other people would whisper back saying, "She wont let me give her a discount" It was just all a really embarrassing mess that was taken care of really poorly by the owner/staff. I will never go to this salon again, and I would never recommend a friend to go to this salon.
