Review content:
Body Basics offers both nationally known products as well as unique customizable scents. Their Burt's Bees product selection is much larger than most stores in the area -- I once drove up there just to get a specific product for a gift because they were the only store in the Sacto region that had the product. This is such a fun store for putting together gifts! Staff are helpful when you need them, but stay out of the way when all you want to do is browse and have a scensory experience. I love their custom scents -- it's fun to give friends a special lotion and bath gel instead of going with the run of the mill selection from a store at the mall. Body Basics is worth the drive up Highway 50 because it's not the only great store in historic downtown Placerville. We love going up there for a few hours to browse the unique boutiques or to go antiquing!
