I'm a 70 year old female--admitted there--before I left was accused by a nurse of "being in bed with another patient"-- cried and upset the whole 2 days there--too afraid and upset to sleep- called my doctor at home and tried to get discharged--had to stay because of planned surgery-another nurse insulted me also--many other negative incidents-- too many to list-- had written some of this stuff down on paper---paper was stolen from my room-----reported to director of nursing--told that nurse had "language barrier" -- what the heck does that mean?? was promised meeting with nurse who insulted me and ceo--but then they backed out--- filed complaint with florida joint commission---not permitted to know what action (if any) was taken-- privacy act--you know--this was a total nightmare---I have been left permanently damaged as I will never feel safe in any hospital again.
