Enjoying lunch at the Gristmill is always a real treat. The Gristmill is located next to Gruene Hall near New Braunfels. The entry is wonderfully with split wine barrels filled with flowers and an old brick walkway. Once you enter the restaurant you will be lead to comfortable seating on one of their several levels overlooking the Guadalupe River. The chips and artichoke dip is a favorite appetizer of ours. Salads as well as burgers are very good but I usually choose the chicken fried steak. There is never room for dessert! Visit the Gristmill and you fill find a good meal and wonderful scenery.
