Review content:
We purchased a wi-fi speaker from Focus via their Amazon store. The product arrived and we immediately found that it did not work as advertised. We received a Return Authorization number and returned the product in all of it's original packaging. This speaker was only in my house for a day or 2 before it was re-packaged for return. It has been a month and a half since the UPS delivery confirmation, and no refund has been given. When I called today to find out why, they suddenly claim the product was returned, "filthy and non-resalable." This is an outright lie! The product was simply opened, plugged in and then repackaged. Most of the accessories were still in their sealed plastic bags. There is NO way this item came back from us in anything other than nearly perfect condition (yes... we touched it and set it on the counter, but we're not filthy nor is our home!) This is clearly a way for them to keep our $148, keep the speaker, and provide us with nothing in return! We had the item for a few days, they've had it in their "returns" department for over 45 days. Hmm... I wonder where it got "filthy?" The best offer they can give me at this point is to claim they will send it back to Sony and call me in a few days to let me know what Sony says. I'd love to see the paperwork regarding this whole thing (especially between them and Sony) because I KNOW the item was not dirty or damaged in anyway when it left my home. Terrible customer service, rude operators who just repeat the same thing over and over. Will never do business with them again.
