VERY DISAPPOINTED and running low on patience with Edgewater Spa. To be honest internet reviews have never let me down until now. I ALWAYS say "Check it out on the reveiws" for restaurants, nail salons, pet groomers, and services. I hand picked Edgewater Spas based on reviews to repair my spa. I SHOULD A...WOULDA... COULDA (famous last words) CLICKED ON THE "FILTERED REVIEWS" located at the bottom left of YELP reviews. 3 reviews all 1 star is what you will find. Those reviews on more honest than the 5 star review on the first page. Making appointments are a MUST for me as my days off are limited and time is precious. I called Edgewater and made an appt for repair here is what happened over the last month. 11/03/2011 - Scheduled for repair at 10am - finally showed at 1pm. Fixed the hottub with a used motor that he said was functioning. Learned later that evening it was a faulty pump. 11/10/2011 NO SHOW! Scheduled to repair the faulty pump. NO SHOW. Called Edgewater and heard from Mike that "the repair guy was pulled for service calls" - isn't my repair a service call? I guess not according to Edgewater. Edgewater again disrespected my time. 11/15/2011 NO SHOW! Scheduled to arrive today. Called Edgewater AGAIN and was told the repair guy is stuck on another job and they are really sorry. 11/22/2011 NO SHOW AGAIN! 3rd TIME NOT SHOWING!!! 3rd time wasting my day off!! 3rd week my spa is sitting still not functioning. Called Edgewater and was told the repair man is stuck on a job in Riverside. They promised to have the repairman show the following week. CALLED THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU - Too many complaints to list. I realize that some may simply be false but these are too many to all be false. I feel very FOOLED by YELP this time. UPDATE: 11/29/2011 26 days since the first repair I am told a repair man is on his way to FINALLY repair the faulty pump. Let me say this the repairman is a very knowledgeable man. He repaired the system and cleaned up after his work. The Edgewater Company is to blame for the complaint disregard to customer service and disregard of my time. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BEWARE and remember to always read the "filtered" reviews, and citisearch and yahoo reviews, and called the Better Business Bureau. If I would have done this my 3 days off would have been mine.
