Run away from this place! My wife went to Thomas Joseph & Sons with the intention of having them design a new ring using diamonds from a ring that she already had. From the start, the sales lady made many promises that they could absolutely do this to our satisfaction, but then the delays started. There was literally NO communication from her regarding the status of the ring, and we had to call them every couple weeks to find out what the status was. Once they finally completed the ring, my wife was not satisfied with the work or design, and asked that it be re-done to her spec's. Again, more promises and delays, and ultimately, the final product was totally unsatisfactory. In the end, not only did we walk away with an unsatisfactory ring that we had to take to a different jewelry designer to be re-worked (at additional cost to us), but when they re-installed the diamonds back into the original ring, they significantly damaged that ring by installing them in a crooked manner, which is totally obvious even ... Again, we were assured that there would be NO problem with removing those diamonds and reinstalling if necessary. We spoke with the manager who had absolutely no sympathy for the situation, nor would he give us any credit or compensation for the poor work or for damaging the original ring (that was purchased for nearly $4000 only 6 months ago). To make matters worse, within 45 days of getting the ring back, one of the diamonds fell out and was lost forever. Thanks alot Thomas Joseph. Obviously, we would NEVER recommend Thomas Joseph & Sons. This place is a joke and not worthy of your money. Go elsewhere, there are too many other reputable jewelers who will stand behind their work.
