Businiess name:  The Peoples Pub

The People's Pub is worth the trip to Ballard...or...if you already live in Ballard...it's worth sticking around for. Before you even get to the food and drink, the pub hours are glorious in and of themselves. They are open until 2 AM which is normal except that the kitchen stays open from 10PM-1:30AM so it's a great place to top off the night. The menu boasts an assortment of German food, but the reason to go is for the Fried Pickles and some beer. I'm not saying this is a good place to die of a heart attack, but if a good sports game is on and you can get a 20 oz. glass of Guinness (and about two dozen other beers) for 4.50, it's as good a place as any. With a friendly late night bartender, great beer prices, and a cheap happy hour, check out The People's Pub.
