Review content:
After much research and weighing of options, I purchased a Munari System M1 HDTV component credenza. I had been to the local audio visual enterprise and had looked at other online furniture retailers. I saw prices that ranged from ridiculously high to the other extreme as well. Very few of the products I saw were "really" designed for AV components. There were no allowances for cabling or exhausting heat. Many other products were obviously made of inferior components (chipboard).
I worked with Steve Hartfelder over many months during the process. He showed patience and was willing to send me information about the different components I was considering. If I had any problems with the Diamond Case product suite, it was that there were too many choices that all met my criteria. However, I settled on my original choice, the Munari M1.
The next hurdle was shipping. I was concerned about receiving a substantial piece of furniture in one piece and getting it into my house. I decided to purchase their "White Glove" delivery service. I am very glad I did. The furniture arrived when promised. It was extremely well packed. The crew of two guys unpacked the piece outside and brought it in and put it exactly where I wanted it. The then removed the inner packing material that was designed to protect the finish. I checked it out and all was perfect.
Bottom line: After using this piece for five months now, I am still extremely pleased with my selection and the overall quality of the furniture. It is extremely well thought out and built. I have already told many of my friends about Diamond Case and will most likely buy from them again if I need additional AV furniture.
Pros: Well designed, built, helpful staff, excellent shipping opti
Cons: none
