I needed a smog test the other day and came here. Usually a smog test is either a simple Pass (and no complaints about the mechanic) or a Fail (and then you may or may not have problems getting it resolved). Mine was a simple Pass, so there were no problems. They didn't appear to be the cheapest place in town, but I used a 10% discount coupon from the phone book (total bill: $51.29). I called and had to wait 2-3 days before I could get an appointment, which is no big deal. The guy I dealt with was friendly, and they got me in and out of there quickly. The main reason I went with them and am writing this review is because my favorite (and trusted) SB area mechanic (Airport Motors) recommended them highly.
Pros: Fast, friendly, recommended by someone I trust
Cons: Had to wait a couple days for appointment
