When I went there they were so bad with my cat they had to anesthetize just to take tests. All the work I had done on her came to $365! I asked to pay in two installments and they said I could use their own credit program. I said I don't do credit but could I make another payment next month? They said no. I had to pay in full or use a charge card which I don't do. Their staff is hardly warm. Dr. Bannister is a vet who is more concerned with getting paid and charging a fortune than caring for an animal. He is an all business Dr. When I complained about the high bill I was told by the front desk that that's because there is no pet insurance. Later, I found out they charged double for the prescription I got than I could get online. When I asked them to cooperate with the online scrip company, they said they don't do that. I am changing my vet asap. Hoppenstedt didn't used to be this way before Bannister took over. They are very expensive and kept me waiting in the wait room for over an hour.
