I have a membership with the Idaho Athletic Club and LOVE IT!! I go to the location on Fairview Road in Meridian; however, there are many locations to choose from.
The gym has something for everyone. It has racquetball courts, exercise classes, cardio equipment, Nautilus machines, Free-weight machines, and for those hard bodies...dumbbells and free-weights (not machines.) I believe they all have swimming pools as well. The location on Fairview also has a beauty salon and a physical therapy place. There is also daycare and personal trainers available for additional fees.
The employees are friendly as are the people who workout there. I notice lots of friendly conversations between the patrons. It resembles a close family or groups of friends.
The monthly fee is not stellar, but it also isn't the most expensive in town. If you are looking for a great place to workout, this is a good spot for you!
