Mr. Crockett really did a great job for us. He was very fair on his prices and if he could save us money, he did.
I originally called one of these plumber that promise to unclog any drain for only $XXX. The problem was that they only had a limited number of “slots” available for unclogging drains at that price and if I wanted to only pay that much then it would be a week from Thursday before they could come out. Of course they would come right away if I paid full price. (Talk about bait and switch!) I explained to them that I would rather have a clogged drain than do business with a company that works that way.
I then found Crocket Plumbing. I called Mike and explained my problem. He was there that same day and was able to clear the drain for less than what the “other guys” special price was. I was so impressed with Mike that I decided to ask for help with the tub upstairs while he was there. I had a problem with the drain stopper. After looking at it, he explained that to fix it right it would be a little more money that I wanted to spend because he would have to remove some tile from the side enclosure to get at the parts that needed to be replaced. However, he explained that if I wanted to just go down to Home Depot, I could pick up a $10 part that would make it work fairly well until I could afford to permanently fix it. I really appreciated him being so honest and helpful.
Well, things were going so well I figured that we might as well keep it going! So, I then asked him about my water heater. I was told when I purchased the house about 4 years ago that the water heater was on its last legs. He took a look at it and agreed that it did need replaced. He took down all of the vital information and later called me back with a quote on replacing the water heater. Well, as you can imagine, I had him come and replace the water heather and that visit also went very smoothly.
My only regret is that I didn’t write this review sooner. This all happened about a year ago. It wasn’t until today that my neighbor asked me if I knew of a good plumber. I gladly gave her the number to call Crocket Plumbing. I figured that I just had to share my experience.
I highly recommend calling Mike and at least getting a price quote from him. I am sure that you will not regret calling him!
