Mr. Crockett really did a great job for us. He was very fair on his prices and if he could save us money, he did. I originally called one of these plumber that promise to unclog any drain for only $XXX. The problem was that they only had a limited number of “slots” available for unclogging drains at that price and if I wanted to only pay that much then it would be a week from Thursday before they could come out. Of course they would come right away if I paid full price. (Talk about bait and switch!) I explained to them that I would rather have a clogged drain than do business with a company that works that way. I then found Crocket Plumbing. I called Mike and explained my problem. He was there that same day and was able to clear the drain for less than what the “other guys” special price was. I was so impressed with Mike that I decided to ask for help with the tub upstairs while he was there. I had a problem with the drain stopper. After looking at it, he explained that to fix it right it would be a little more money that I wanted to spend because he would have to remove some tile from the side enclosure to get at the parts that needed to be replaced. However, he explained that if I wanted to just go down to Home Depot, I could pick up a $10 part that would make it work fairly well until I could afford to permanently fix it. I really appreciated him being so honest and helpful. Well, things were going so well I figured that we might as well keep it going! So, I then asked him about my water heater. I was told when I purchased the house about 4 years ago that the water heater was on its last legs. He took a look at it and agreed that it did need replaced. He took down all of the vital information and later called me back with a quote on replacing the water heater. Well, as you can imagine, I had him come and replace the water heather and that visit also went very smoothly. My only regret is that I didn’t write this review sooner. This all happened about a year ago. It wasn’t until today that my neighbor asked me if I knew of a good plumber. I gladly gave her the number to call Crocket Plumbing. I figured that I just had to share my experience. I highly recommend calling Mike and at least getting a price quote from him. I am sure that you will not regret calling him! Jason P. Mr. Crockett is a breath of fresh air. He showed up right on time, spent all sorts of time unclogging my horrible, rusty old pipes, explained the problems causing the issues, made recommendations and provided accurate estimates to make permanent repairs. He also ended up replacing a couple of pipes. Also in less than two minutes, he diagnosed a problem with my kitchen faucet which a certain other big-named company (name rhymes with "nipple") installed a year ago and has fought me tooth and nail to fix or replace ever since. I've told my family and friends about him and his great work. Pros: On time, very thorough, accurate estimates, great prices Cons: I can never use another plumber! :) more
