Review content:
The Los Altos Grill (formerly Bandera) was a long-time favorite, but on a recent visit I was disheartened by the unfortunate turn the menu has taken. I wholeheartedly agree with the previous review that the Macho Salad and pork tenderloin should be brought back post-haste, but more broadly they could use a general dose of creativity. What was always a straight-forward menu is now just simple-minded. The ambience and energy are still good, but overall it's lost some of its "special-ness".
