I really do miss Flints so maybe I'm just biased that said -- in my most recent search for good BBQ I stumbled across Dougs. While it is not the worst BBQ in the Bay area --theres nothing special there. We ordered pork ribs (sandwich size) and the 2-way platter with lamb and brisket. Total about $25. The pork ribs where passable but the sauce (we ordered the hot was not and had a cloying sweetness, a sense of too much MSG and the favors were not well blended.) As for the lamb and brisket couldnt tell which was which (or maybe they accidentally left out one) but it was really (grossly) fatty (you couldnt even see the sauce through melted fat.) In the end the combo was put away unfinished, and we ate the ribs (passable in a pinch but not the stuff of dreams)
