I got married last month and used Canela for massages and hair treatments leading up to my wedding as well as for my hair and all of my bridesmaids' hair on the actual wedding day. It is difficult to please 8 women on such an important day and EVERYONE left the salon feeling gorgeous. Not only did the stylists do a wonderful job with our hair they even provided us with breakfast!
I have gone to many of the top spas in Manhattan for massages and hair treatments and Canela ranks up there as one of the best! The staff is incredibly accomodating and will work and re-work your hair or any other treatment until you are completely satisfied. In addition to the wonerful staff, the salon itself is beautiful and warm--you feel cozy the minute you enter!
I highly recommend the salon!!
