Review content:
"Splash!" is the hotel bar at the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn. It is not what you would expect from a hotel bar but rather something you would expect along Ventura Blvd. The music is loud and sometimes obnoxious rock/rap and hip hop. The multiple TV's are great but should be showing sports. The nightclub shares space with a nasty 70's style coffee shop. The worst thing, however, is the $5 it costs to park and the machine doesn't always work! We asked the bartender why the TV's didn't play football and we were told the hotel general manager "doesn't like sports". There is a cool martini on the special drink menu that has a flower floating on it that you can eat! Very cool! Overall, it's never busy and it's too loud. The outside patio is nice with comfy seats but certainly not a place to people watch...
