Review content:
I have been to both of the "BIG AL's" in Vancouver and Beaverton. Let me start with my experience in Vancouver.
The service is slow. We actually got tired of waiting to have our order taken by someone..... anyone that we sent one of our party to the Burgerville to get us food. We took turns going outside to eat our food. It wasn't until half of us had consumed our food from somewhere else that we had someone come over and ask if we were ready to order yet.. We handed the menus back and proceeded to attempt to order a round of drinks. Little did we know the hassle it would be to JUST ORDER DRINKS. When we got the bill there were cocktails on our bill which was over $60. WE EACH HAD ONE BEER. There were four of us. We would have been stuck with the bill if it hadn't been for the people that we met there refusing to allow us to be bullied by the staff and management. They saw who it was that had the drinks.............oh and then the server remembered it wasn't us. this after the manager threatened to call the police if we didn't pay. NO APOLOGY WAS OFFERED NOR WOULD IT HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED!
My BIG AL bowling experience in Beaverton was suppoesed to be better. Turns out the employees that failed to live up to the "HIGH" standard in Vancouver we sent to the minors in Beaverton. There must be an IQ test that you have to fail in order to be employed and or manager one of these places.
I compete in an annual event that unfortunately is held at BIG ALs. My bowling is paid for. I go for that reason only and pack a lunch that I will respectively eat in my car between sessions. They will receive not Dime one of MY MONEY. I advise all to avoid this business lest they experience they same loss of time and enjoyment that I did in my times at BIG ALs.
Yes thats right I said times as I had mistakenly believed that the poor service I was receiving was an anomoly. Turns out that piss poor service and overpricing is the standard at BIG Als.
Other than that I guess you could say the bathrooms were clean.
