Review content:
I was walking on Beacon street, and came in to order a smoothie for a friend and me. I paid for our smoothies. Then I was told that all smoothies MUST be made with apple juice only. WTF? Sorry but you can't get your drink made your way at this poorly run cafe. I asked if I could get it made with milk or soymilk, and was told absolutely not. I am not kidding about this. I asked to speak to a manager to see if perhaps he/she would be more flexible. I was told that there was no manager working that day. So I even offered to pay extra. The girl behind the counter refunded my money ($10), and made clear she wasn't interested in making a smoothie unless it had apple juice in it. I tried to go to their web site to give feedback to the owner, and their website is broken and won't accept messages. This is a very poorly run cafe that trains their employees terribly. I refuse to go back there. I now get great smoothies at Boloco, which is happy to customize the smoothie I want.
