My thoughts on Victoria's Wedding Chapel -- just plain greedy.\r \r My fiance and I booked our wedding at Victoria's for OCTOBER 2010 after looking at a number of different places. Shortly after booking the venue, many of our family members who live on the East let us know that they were experiencing financial hardship and didn't anticipate things getting better in time for them to make plans to attend our wedding. Our guest list evaporated and we realized we would have to consider another option. With the date more than ONE YEAR in advance, we thought Victoria's would be understanding and refund our deposit. WRONG. These shady sleeze bags want to keep the entire deposit even though its more than likely they will book that date. My co-ordinator already let it slip that they have another wedding scheduled for that date. Its not as if we canceled because we found a better place -- why hold a ceremony and reception when no one will be able to attend?
