Businiess name:  Telfair Museum of Art
Review by:  Laura B.
Review content:
The Telfair Art Museum, located in historic downtown Savannah is a treasure. It is not that large for a museum, but it is quite a large house (which was the building's original function.) I enjoyed the variety of pieces, representing many different artists, movements, and eras. In fact, I think I even have a new favorite artist and there are many interesting paintings. exhibits are changed periodically to showcase the museum's permanent collection as well as some visiting exhibits. Some of the displays could use some work as labels are faded and difficult to read, and they are having some power issues so lighting is a bit odd downstairs. It is worth seeing and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
