Review content:
Knott's has a few really great rides, and mostly "good" rides. You can usually only stay for about 6 hours or so (as opposed to Disneyland or Magic Mtn), because there are so few good rides and the theme park itself is not that large. If you're into shows, there are also a few mediocre ones as well. However, I think Knott's shines in that the few great roller coasters that they have are unique to their park. I haven't been on a ride like Silver Bullet (?) anywhere else. Also, it's great b/c there's always coupons for discounted prices floating around somewhere, making tickets about $28 or so for adults in the summer. That's a lot easier on the wallet than the other parks in SoCal. Also, the lines weren't that long on an August Saturday. They also offer half-price ticketing after 4pm.
Food-wise, the Chicken Dinner Restaurant rocks.
