Review content:
This restaurant has been touted as one of the best in the Triangle area, and indeed the menu is creative, with an emphasis on local herbs and vegetables and inventive dishes. The wine list is comprehensive, although there are only a handful of wines offered by the glass. Service is friendly and attentive. I just wasn't all that impressed by the food. Some of the entrée/side pairings were downright strange, and the "first course" list was very short. Our salad was waaaaaaaay overdressed, and main courses were tasty, but certainly not the best food I've had in the Triangle area. Dessert was disappointing. Head to Magnolia Grill instead.
