Review content:
Good: selection of fruits and vegetables. Bad: California peaches. Improvements: Obviously, someone didn't taste the peaches before selecting them for market.. Other: My wife and I make jam with some of the fruit when it is priced well and canning as well. We set the case of peaches in the refrigerator for a few days to soften. When we started blanching the fruit to remove the skin we found the peach meat was dry and pithy. It didn't work out. They were stringy. We brought the bag of prepared peaches to the manager and he could care less. A lousy $20 box of peaches that, if replaced, would have kept our $500 a year business. Too bad, huh!.
