This company installed a high efficiency heat pump, replaced ductwork a little over a years ago. I rue the day I chose them. I have had nothing but serious issues with this system. I wish I had KEPT the 85% old gas furnace I had and was still using window A/C!! I spent over 12K on this system, which was installed in the crawl space - the most elaborate installation I have ever seen - this, they insisted, was the only place it could be put. Everything was wrong, from the initial estimator who came out to each and every serviceman.
My electric bills were out of sight. Serviceman after serviceman came out until finally my friend who is a contractor came over and discovered I was heating and cooling the great outdoors. The list of things wrong was a mile long.
I do not believe this company is honest. When a system is not performing correctly they do a diagnostic check - aptly named a CHECK ME. They go through all the parts until your system passes this test - the results of which come from some place in CA, I believe. After about three visits, adjustments, they were able to get the system to pass the CHECK ME. However, it was AFTER this point, that my friend came over and found a myriad number of things wrong. This, leads me to believe that the so-called CHECK ME is bogus, otherwise how could the system have passed?
Do yourself a favor and do not use this company. They have, in my opinion, only one employee who actually knows what he is doing and good luck getting him as your technician because he is in high demand.
