This review is regarding service only. I will say my furnace installation went well (we paid top $$$ so it should of gone well right?) and we were given a free first year maintenance of the furnace. So a gal called to schedule the furnace a couple weeks ago. She scheduled for Nov. 12th. I took time off of work to accomidate their schedule. The afternoon before they are to arrive, I receive a voice mail telling me the weather is cold and to call back next spring when the weather warms up to re-schedule my first year maintenance. Weather is 100% average for November right now. I explained that the furnace manufacturer suggests a twice yearly maintenance and they suggest to have it done in the fall prior to using it all winter. Our furnace is due for its maintenance and we bought the furnace and expect them to provide the maintenance they said came with the purchase. After some back and forth emails, some hot shot named Barry Robinson the "service Manager" shoots me a very nice condecending email which in part states "You have made it very clear that you are the most important customer that we have. I am willing to put you in front of customers with no heat to maintain a great reputation and your satisfaction" Based on the reviews here, I'm not so sure about the great reputation, but I digress... Am I to believe that a company as large as Tri-County has every tech and maintenance guy on call until next spring graciously helping people out with no heat? Give me a break. As I type this email, its 59 degrees on November 15th - hardly a cold snap that would cause a decent company to cancel their maintenance appointments...(unless they are free). So while Tri-County is great at selling you the product with their polished sales pitch, the back end customer service is terrible. We are going to have our furnace maintenanced this week like it is supposed to be on our own dime because Tri-County can't seem to uphold their end of the bargin. I'd rather pay another company to maintenance my furnace than do business with someone like Barry at Tri County Temp Control.
