Review content:
When we first moved here we were not used to the Pennsylvania style beverage sales, and had always bought beer in a clean, bright grocery or liquor store, along with other things we were shopping for. When my teenage son stopped here with me, he was a bit afraid to let me go in, as it was a cloudy and dark fall day, and it looked run down, with only some men around. I did go in, and found it to be fine, although I was the only woman there the whole time. I was treated well. I think the lawmakers and public do not expect older women to want to buy beer! Anyway, it is an fine place to go, although I admit I drink more wine or liquor now that I have to make a special trip to a beer facility. Maybe that is the goal? Thank goodness for McCaffrey's with the wine store next door. You don't know what convenience you are missing in other states.
