Cold Spring Beverages

Cold Spring has every beer know to man. Prices are avg., but the amount of brands they carry is fantastic. It's located in a really old building. They also carry cigars, fresh produce, mixers, etc, etc,. Very nice people working there too. I love the place. more

When we first moved here we were not used to the Pennsylvania style beverage sales, and had always bought beer in a clean, bright grocery or liquor store, along with other things we were shopping for. When my teenage son stopped here with me, he was a bit afraid to let me go in, as it was a cloudy and dark fall day, and it looked run down, with only some men around. I did go in, and found it to be fine, although I was the only woman there the whole time. I was treated well. I think the lawmakers and public do not expect older women to want to buy beer! Anyway, it is an fine place to go, although I admit I drink more wine or liquor now that I have to make a special trip to a beer facility. Maybe that is the goal? Thank goodness for McCaffrey's with the wine store next door. You don't know what convenience you are missing in other states. more

Cold Spring Beverage offers a large selection. Although nothing much to look at from the outside or the inside, it's prices make it worth while. In addition to beer, soda, water, drink mixes, and coolers, the store also offers snack foods, lottery tickets and seasonal items. It's worth the run if you are having a party. more
