Review content:
In order to get birth control refills this office requires that everyone have an office visit every six months, not yearly like all the other doctor offices in the country. They claim that they do this with every patient. I refused to come in because I see no reason (I have low blood pressure, do not smoke, weigh 120lbs...). They said this is their office policy & they refused to allow me to get another refill until I came in. I have talked with other obgyn's & they were floored that they had such a policy, they had never heard of such a thing. There are only 2 reasons they would do this; 1. because they are poor doctors & can not determine the difference between high & low risk. Or 2. They want to make more money. I went to another obgyn to get a refill. They requested my records from this office. I received a letter yesterday saying that I have to fork over $10 to have them photocopy & $2 to mail my records to another office. Wow, seems like a lot, right. Well at least I now know that they aren't bad doctors, they are just looking to make extra cash. The funny part is I have no problem paying for my records as long as I never have to deal with this office ever again. I highly recommend that people do not support such an office. They are taking advantage of people & trying to make extra money.
