Review content:
Our first time staying in Tahoe City was made very pleasant by the Pepper Tree Inn staff. We originally called to check their availability since I didn't know if I could make it over the weekend because of work. The owner assured me that if I had to cancel last minute we wouldn't have to pay the cancellation fee. Luckily, we could make the trip, and we're glad we did! We asked for a lot of advice upon arriving: which mountain had the best snow for the next day (between Alpine, Squaw, Homewood, and Sugar Bowl), and what restaurants were good local places with good beer. We took them up on their advice (Alpine & The Bridgetender, respectively), and had an absolutely great weekend. It didn't hurt that the snow was amazing as well! Overall, thanks to the Pepper Tree Inn staff for making our stay easy, cheap, and fun! We would definitely stay again!
