We had a blast this past weekend at Fort Rapids. I had read so many reviews that the hotel was outdated and the service was terrible and I have to strongly disagree. There were a few scuff marks on our room door...but seriously? does really affect your sleep or ruin your vacation?? The room was clean the service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The water park was outstanding, no long lines and everything was clean. We bought 2 packages, the staycation which gave us a free pizza and drinks(the pizza was average at best but it was free so that helped the taste) and we got $20 in tokens for the game room and a bag of dirt to pan for gems. The other package was the wild lights at the columbus zoo,which gave us 4 tickets to the zoo, which was awesome!! I have been to bigger and better indoor waterparks but this one was just fine and we would go again in a heartbeat. Sometimes I think if some people see a corner of the wall paper sticking up a 1/4 of and inch they consider the place outdated and a dump. I look for a clean safe place for my family and Fort Rapids was certainly that.
