Review content:
We were visiting Springfield when our little girl got ill, she was even discharging blood. Being from out-of-state we didn't know a veterinarian in the area so we had to rely on the internet to find a hospital. After calling three other doctors we were becoming very discouraged and more concerned. Not one would take us on an emergency basis and only wanted to schedule an appointment. That is until we contacted Angel Animal Hospital (their name says it all) for the staff were indeed Angels! We were at their office within the hour, just before closing on a Friday night. Our little girl was promptly examined, x-rayed and diagnosed. She received loving care from all who came in contact with her. Not to mention her parents and our other hairy child were treated just as kindly. The staff went out of their way to be sure we understood the procedure, financial obligation and aftercare that she would need from us. Our little girl was diagnosed with Pyometra, a serious and life threatening infection of the uterus and needed immediate surgery. The entire staff stayed for hours after closing on a Friday night to tend to our family. We also received a call at 10 p.m. that night from Dr. Flathers to check on how our little girl was doing after her surgery. Now that's definitely the personal touch that truly shows how much the staff cares. Without the expertise, efficiency, knowledge and loving care provided to us by all the staff of Angels we certainly could have lost a very special member of our family. Thank You!
