Last night we discovered that our shower was backing up and called a Roto-rooter plumber (from St. Paul MN). We were very pleased with how quickly they came and we were glad at the end of the evening with the fact that they had taken care of it.
He had to remove the toilet to get at what was backing it up. Unfortunately, in doing so, the floor base where the toilet was seated was wrecked, so now our home has one less working bathroom. But that toilet was as old as the home, so it makes sense that the bolts were corroded.
