Review content:
I was specifically looking for a replacement fridge and went to the store on Lamar. I did not see any old models and at first glance, all of the fridges looked new (shipping tape on the inside, anti-mar plastic, etc.).
However, the prices were higher than what I could get in a chain store! I've been to Fry's, Best Buy, Home Depot today (just before) and the going price for an 18 cu ft fridge without bells and whistles seems to be around $400 and for a 21 cu ft to be around $500.
IIRC, I saw several 18 cu ft top-freezer/bottom fridge split units here for $500. Many of the fridges had "Price at Store X" prices that were way marked up to make their prices look better.
Maybe this would work for you if you want immediate pickup though. Most stores ship from a warehouse, which takes a few days. I imagine that you can just pickup one here and now and be done with it.
