Buyer Beware, Toyota Selling UNSAFE Cars Again!!!!! I bought a car from this Toyota Dealer thinking i would get a safe reliable used car. While purchasing this car they sure did a good job of presenting me with all this paper work that it had all these inspections, a car fax and all this other diverting mumbo jumbo assuring me this car was in good working order. Come to find out that there was a significant oil leak that was not disclosed to me and they tried covering it up by gluing on the oil plug to stop the leak. The glue was silicone but glue none the less. There was also a leak coming from the oil pan seal that was causing oil to leak on to the exhaust pipe and start burning that causes an awful smell. So I returned to asked that this problem be fixed being that i thought that it should of been disclosed to me when i purchased it. So they fed me some bull about that I bought the car as is and that it wasn't a safety issue. So I said when there is oil leaking on to the hottest part of the tail pipe that seems like a safety issue to me. Also if that isn't a safety issue then i can almost be positive that me and my children breathing these fumes being put off from the oil burning is. So after a little bit of hassle they realized they were wrong and agreed to fix it. Well they tried twice to fix it without success. Then they said that the oil was coming from somewhere else and wanted me to pay for them to try and find the problem. So basically they agreed that they should fix it and it was a safety issue but now that it might not fit in with the bottom line they cant do it. Pretty sad for a company such as Toyota to sell cars like this. Also the person name was Cindy in the service Department that said it wasn't a safety issue and that denied my request to make it right. You should be ashamed of yourself.
