Felt a little bit of pressure of them wanting us to buy a car and not wanting to negotiate. Didn't like that. Person was civil enough. Really upset about how I ended up getting a warranty and with a deductible. They didn't even tell us that upfront. Otherwise, forget it! That's what irks me. Didn't want it in the first place, but that's how they work. If they gave me no deductible, then I might of felt better about buying an extended warranty. I know that's how they get more money out of you, etc. I kept saying no to the warranty, but . . . I lost.
At least made every effort to look for the specific car we were trying to find. It was a new model year that had just come out. So, of course they didn't have too many in stock yet. Got lucky and a car just arrived having exactly what we wanted. Took a test drive and they were patient about that considering we had more than one driver.
Okay, just didn't like the whole sales and negotiating thing. Plus, not catching that deductible thing! That still bothers me. I would have liked to of been given the chance to negotiate that or at least reject the warranty some more because of that.
Service is okay. It's actually a headache driving over there sometimes because of traffic, but they were one of the fews that had several dealerships all within one another. Pretty much right next to each other.
Oh, found out later that I had a missing air tire cap on my "supposed" new car that had just rolled into the lot. It had 11 miles on it when I left with it! Told them about the missing item, but they said to just ask for it when you come back down or to go down there. Why couldn't they just send one??? I wasn't going to drive all the way down there just to get that. Felt kind of ripped off, but I think that's for just about anyone when buying a car from a dealership.
I have to say though, it's probably not a good place to go if you just want info and to browse around along with checking out the cars. Only one other place I went to let me do that without hassling me. They were willing to show and tell me everything without me feeling as if I had to buy! That was somewhere in Alhambra.
