I have been a consigner with Stuff since they opened in Iowa City-long time! I consign at all the locals knowing what specific items to take that sell. I noticed problems with consigning when the SW CR store opened. Many times I dropped off items and found that later I had to ask where they are. I even combed the store looking. Some would turn up days later. What I found was a pattern of items being held or hidden by employees so the price would be taken down due to the time span gone by. Some of the items would also be priced to the advantage of employees. The patterns of employee dishonesty finally stopped.But now this store is closing. The management and employees were not as good as in the other locations. Too bad this could have been a great store. We will miss it!
