From a business point of view, if this establishment is going to remain open they are going to have to upgrade their equipment and undergo some staff training and or changes. I believe the skates may be the same skates (for the most part) as the ones purchased when they originally opened. They are extremely uncomfortable and overused. The carpet looks filthy and the tables are due for replacing. Due to the look of things surrounding me and my family, we certainly were not going to brave the concession stand. It's extremely disheartening to see an establishment like this giving up when the area is thirsty for family fun! What's really sad is mentioning the areas of need to the staff and getting a response that "the owner doesn't listen to the managers so it doesn't much matter what is said." I believe the owner was on Wife Swap correct? Maybe he needs to be on Undercover Boss!
