Review content:
First the reviews on this sight were VERY helpful. - bring your own toiletries and bath towels if you like big fluffy ones. It is an average hotel, staff is VERY polite and helpful. I called the hotel to book directly, but, they suggested I go online to save 10%. Due to last minute booking, (5 days in advance) we were in a smoking room. The room had that stale smell. I used some herbal (thieves) spray which helped, then I decided to check out the filter on the a/c. The filter had about 1/2 inch of debris. Washed it out in the shower and the room was much better. The room is spartan, but very clean, sheets are thin, the blanket looked like army surplus, towels are small and thin. The pool looked well maintained, a large L shape with plenty of room for kids and adults. For two people, this close to Mystic and the casino's, $90 on a Saturday night high summer season was a deal. BOOK early! I called 5 days in advance and all that was left were 3 rooms in the smoking section. While checking in at 9pm, 4 people came in looking for hotel rooms.
