Review content:
I met with Dr. Hornfeld for the first time yesterday. I made a scheduling mistake and missed the appointment we had in the morning. When I called they were very accomodating and rescheduled me for later in the afternoon. When I arrived, I filled out my paperwork and Dr. Hornfeld saw me immediately - no waiting. Although we discovered some bad news with my eye (a tear in my retina), Dr. Hornfeld made be feel comfortable and put me at ease. He made an appontment for me with with a Retina specialist so I could have it fixed the next morning and everything has gone smotothly so far.
I was most impressed with how he explained everything in detail during the examination; at one point he pulled out his tablet PC and used an animated presentation to clearly explain how the eye works and what is going on with my eye.
