Mark Hornfeld Ophthalmologists

I met with Dr. Hornfeld for the first time yesterday. I made a scheduling mistake and missed the appointment we had in the morning. When I called they were very accomodating and rescheduled me for later in the afternoon. When I arrived, I filled out my paperwork and Dr. Hornfeld saw me immediately - no waiting. Although we discovered some bad news with my eye (a tear in my retina), Dr. Hornfeld made be feel comfortable and put me at ease. He made an appontment for me with with a Retina specialist so I could have it fixed the next morning and everything has gone smotothly so far. I was most impressed with how he explained everything in detail during the examination; at one point he pulled out his tablet PC and used an animated presentation to clearly explain how the eye works and what is going on with my eye. more

Dr. Hornfeld who is part of Vista Lasik, is unbeleivable. I found him on Citysearch and was hesitant about going because I've been putting off laser suregery for a while now. I didn't think lasik was safe until I met Dr. Hrnfeld. He went through the procedure with me, giving me different options. It took one day for lasik to work and now I can see better than ever. I would be very careful when choosing a lasik suregon in NYC. It seeems that a lot of the bigger names have the most problems. Dr Hornfeld is very close and personal with his patients and going to him is not like going to a doctor. Dr Hornfeld, is on the upper west side in New York. I live in Brooklyn but needed to have my eye correction surgery done. The lasik technique he uses is incredible and the price is great. I was able to see the next day better than I did as a kid. The best LAsik vision guy in New York City is Dr Hornfeld. Pros: gentle, and great results more
