Review content:
We are in our late 50's and getting married. We wanted a ring which had been previously loved with a history ..the ultimate recycling of life!
The minute we entered Antoinette's shop we found what was the ring of a lifetime. My background is in Ancient and Medieval history and I knew I had seen a picture of the ring I was holding someplace, but couldn't place just where.
After purchasing the ring I started doing research and discovered it was from the 16th century. We had it appraised by an antiquarian jewelry appraiser in London specializing in old stones and discovered it is definitely from the late 16th century when they were just beginning to cut diamonds in the 'rose' style as it resembles a rose blossom. It was also from the royal house of Spain, (which is why the ring's style seemed so familiar), and was appraised as museum quality starting at $6,500.00 plus. We paid much, much, much less. After sharing the good news, (for us), with Antoinette her graciousness in not seeing it as a financial loss to her business but a delight in orchestrating our purchase impressed us enough to return and purchase another ring, a lovely old rose gold band with obvious markings of having been loved and cherish for many years, and the most fabulous baroque pearl earrings with the same rose cut diamond accents I have ever seen in my life! And again, the lovely Antoinette gave us such a wonderful price we feel she is the most selfless, charming shop owner we have had the good fortune meet.
We have recommended her to everyone we know looking for jewelry, and now to you.
Be ready to find something magical in there, and someone wonderful you can trust.
Pros: Quality, Price, Knowledge of Product,Charming Owner
Cons: none
