I grew up in a city where the Zoo was free so it took a little getting used to paying to go to the Zoo but the Columbus Zoo is pretty worth it. We recently bought a family season pass and have been there a number of times this summer. Its a shame the Zoo has been getting a lot of bad publicity because even with the remodeling there is a lot to see. The baby elephant is pretty cute so go see it before it grows up!
If you plan on going more than a couple of times a year then I recommend the season pass, you will save a lot and not feel pressure to do so much on each visit.
